Derrick is a partner in Strype Barristers LLP and an intrinsic part of our specialized litigation team. He practises in the field of Corporate/Commercial and Securities Litigation and has appeared at all levels of court in Ontario since going into practice in 1991.

Derrick is counsel to one of the largest electrical material suppliers in Canada and has extensive experience in the area of construction lien litigation.

His practice includes MultiParty/Corporate Securities including Claims involving the Ontario Securities Commission.

Derrick was called to the Bar in Ontario in 1991. He received his LL.M in 2006, from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University in A.D.R. and Substantive Law.
